Your Challenge
- Establishing continuous discovery habits, implementing the right tooling (for working with user feedback).
- Building a research participants panel, recruiting users from the pool of our most loyal customers.
- Setting up a strong collaboration between Product Designers and Product Managers.
- Enabling cross-spaceport discussions around prioritization and product strategy.
- As a Director of Product Experience at Ataccama, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product to meet the highest standards and expectations our users have for enterprise SaaS.
- We envision Ataccama as a crafted product that guides its users and earns their complete trust. The Product Experience organization was established to work toward this vision.
What Will You Do
- Report to the SVP of Product.
- Define and track relevant usability and product metrics, report the results to the leadership team.
- Be a strong partner in strategic product discussions with your product and engineering peers.
- Enable cooperation with teams adjacent to Product Experience, mainly with the Product Management organization.
- Own the accessibility and usability aspects of product quality, drive systemic improvements.
- Step up the UX maturity in the whole organization.
- Manage and lead 5 Product Experience teams — these include Product Design, UX Research, UX Writing, Documentation, and our dedicated Flamingo Design System team.
- Set goals for the Product Experience teams in relation to company-wide objectives, support the teams in executing them.
- Staff the team and evolve team operations.
- Define ways of working, formalize best practices, and enable teams and individuals to collaborate and work effectively.
- Help individuals grow in their roles and set up development plans.
- Roll up your sleeves whenever needed, although no hands-on work is expected or desired at this level.
Is This You?
- Proven track record of successfully managing and leading teams with up to 40 reports.
- Deep understanding of the product design and UX research discipline and their role in a scaling organization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate strategic decisions and rationale to stakeholders across levels.
- Passion for innovation, creativity, and pushing the boundaries of product quality and excellence.
- Background in product design or product management.
- Experience with SaaS B2B products.
- Extra points for degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related fields.
