At Ataccama, we don’t just talk about our values, we live them. Whether it's ONE Team, Challenging Fun, Aiming High, Candid and Caring, or Customer Centric, each value shapes the way we work, connect, and celebrate.
And when it comes to ONE Team, there’s no better way to bring it to life than by coming together on the ice. Recently, we hosted a (very real) hockey game at one of our key hubs in Prague, and it turned out to be one of our most memorable internal events to date.
Hockey + Ataccama = a perfect match
With major hubs in Canada, the USA, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, hockey runs deep in our company DNA. So it’s no surprise that over 70 Ataccamers showed up – some to play, others to cheer, and many with family in tow – to take part in a game full on.
Two teams, White vs. Red, took over the ice at Icearena for what could only be described as a nearly professional-level match. The lineup was a blend of current employees, their kids, and even a few former teammates. And spoiler alert: the kids definitely carried the scoreboard.

It was good to see how many people are enthusiastic about hockey in Ataccama. Not only on the ice, but on the stands also. Hopefully, we opened the experience for more people with the after-the-game skating session and some of them will participate next time. At the end of the day, who can say that they played hockey with NHL player?

After the final whistle, the ice opened up to everyone for a round of free skating, trick shots, and pure, unfiltered fun with colleagues, friends, and family.
