Searching for your next career challenge? Ataccama is looking for a Sydney-based Marketing Coordinator to join our global marketing team. If you’re looking for a job where no two days are the same, get ready to jump in (and step up).

Your challenge

  • Active involvement, operational support, and project management for APAC regional sessions of our ongoing Ataccama Digital Conference. This involves handling logistics, session set up and prep, managing deliverables, ensuring the flow of communication between and among various stakeholders (both internal and external), keeping the Digital Conference website up to date, staffing events, etc.
  • Handle operations and ensure the success of digital events that fall outside the scope of the Ataccama Digital Conference (conferences, workshops, seminars, etc. organized externally).
  • Handle operations and help ensure the success of in-person events (customer appreciations, seminars, conferences, trade shows, etc.) for the APAC region. This includes planning, booking venues, orders, logistics, communication with suppliers, team prep, managing the production of marketing collateral, packing conference materials, helping arrange travel, etc.
  • Help keep our event pipeline full by researching relevant regional events (digital or in-person) that could be of interest. Take calls with event organizers and do an initial evaluation of prospective events.
  • Participate in / staff certain in-person events and conferences as needed.
  • At Ataccama, we work as a team to achieve our goals. You might also be pulled into other marketing activities to support the team.

Is this you?

  • You have excellent communication skills, both spoken and written. You're fully able to take calls or exchange emails with our clients, partners, and suppliers, and handle initial negotiations on event pricing, etc.
  • You’re hyper-organized and aren’t afraid to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • You’re based in Sydney but don’t expect to work 9 am-5 pm every day. You’re available at least 20-30 hours/week, flexible with time, and can help staff events and attend prep meetings that take place outside of those hours.
  • You have a positive attitude, a strong sense of accountability, attention to detail, and you aren’t afraid to go the extra mile.
  • You’re a people person. You like to communicate and enjoy working with an international team.
