We are looking for a new team member for our growing finance department in Prague to help take care of Ataccama group entities. As our Junior Financial Controller, you will cooperate with people throughout Ataccama as well as with controlling teams within the Adastra group.

What´s your challenge?

Business support

  • Advise business managers on all finance related matters.
  • Advise on the completeness of purchase orders, acceptance certificates, etc.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial reports.

Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management reports (including comments to P&L).
  • Do monthly calculations of revenue including work in progress calculations.
  • Cooperate with our accounting departments around the world to ensure proper accounting of revenues and costs.
  • Prepare support for monthly transfer pricing invoices and calculate TP rates.
  • Ensure intercompany reconciliation of P&L and BS items.
  • Review headcount reports.
  • Review P&Ls on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare standard costing calculations (direct cost rates).
  • Ensure timely collection of receivables.

Audit

  • Prepare statutory WIP calculations and unpaid holiday calculations.
  • Review completeness of accounting documentation.
  • Deal with local auditors during the annual statutory audit.

Is this you?

  • You have 1-4 years of experience in controlling/auditing.
  • You have knowledge of Czech accounting standards and chart of accounts. (It´s a must.)
  • You understand the basics of tax regulation and travel expenses.
  • You have completed a Master’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
  • You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • You speak fluently Czech.
  • You have very good knowledge of English.
  • You’re a team player.
  • You pay attention to detail and have good organizational and communication skills.
  • You are an analytical thinker with the ability to see things in a broader context.

Bonus knowledge

  • You’re familiar with the Navision Axapta accounting system.
