Are you interested in starting your career in cybersecurity? Are you technical (or not even too technical) but found a passion in security and are eager to learn more? Join our information security team and start your career path as a SOC Analyst and work your way up to becoming a cybersecurity hero

Your challenge:

  • Monitor the dashboards and resolve security events/incidents according to predefined playbooks. Escalate to L2 and higher if the situation requires
  • Participate in refining and polishing Ataccama's internal processes in the area of security monitoring, incident response, and other relevant topics
  • Assist with creating documentation
  • Communicate with users, help solve their situation and assist with daily operation

Responsibilites:

  • Threat detection and response, vulnerability management, and endpoint protection, while monitoring the Ataccama infrastructure, including escalation of incidents to management and other teams
  • Participation in threat analysis, malware analysis, and appropriate collecting of evidence for potential forensics
  • Maintaining relevant documentation
  • Participation in creating the framework for risk management
  • Cooperate with Professional Services in delivering successful projects to customers
  • Participate in pre-project phases, mainly in information security-related areas
  • Assist with information security training and awareness program
  • Keep vigilance of possible threats, vulnerabilities, and risks to Ataccama systems (physical, information security, and human factor) and improve various preventive measures to maintain all risks at the lowest possible levels
  • Follow trends in information security best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Participate at Team Security meetings, communicate various needs, and inform of ad-hoc situations requiring attention and/or input
  • Assist Team IT with various projects and participate in long-term IT and Security Team initiatives

Is this you?

  • You have a general knowledge of information security and a keen interest in the topic
  • You understand general IT concepts such as networking, OSI model, DHCP, DNS, routing, firewalls, and VPN
  • You have a positive attitude, patience, eagerness to help, and willingness to work autonomously and contribute to the team's missions
  • You are methodical and open to unconventional approaches.

Additional Skills (adding plus points, but not required):

  • Previous experience in a position involved with information security/compliance, or IT support
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture and virtualization concepts
  • Previous experience with coding in any language
  • Awareness of the existence of SOC2, NIST, SANS, CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, and other security standards and frameworks
