As the Business Development Manager, you will drive and execute Ataccama’s business development strategies, set up the global process, enhance current portfolio, explore new business opportunities, while overlooking the global team of BD Representatives. 

Your Challenge


  • Strategic Leadership & Execution
  • Create, deploy, and refine business development strategies in alignment with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to enhance lead quality, streamline follow-ups, and implement process improvements.

  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Hire, Lead, coach, and mentor a team of 4-8 Business Development Specialists.
  • Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and cultivate a high-performance and collaborative work environment.

  • Lead Management & Prospecting
  • Research potential accounts and personas within our ICP to personalize relevant outreach sequences.
  • Drive high-volume lead generation through various channels, including cold outreach, social media, calls, and emails.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Relationship Managers to devise effective prospecting strategies.
  • Monitor and report on lead quantity, quality, and team outcomes.

  • Relationship Building & Management
  • Ensure the team nurtures strong, lasting relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts.
  • Champion effective communication to comprehend customer needs and challenges.

  • Market Intelligence & Analysis
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor actions, and industry shifts.
  • Utilize insights to influence the company’s propensity model and discovery process.

  • Performance Metrics & Tracking
  • Develop and track KPIs to gauge business development efforts.
  • Regularly present reports to senior management, offering insights and future strategy recommendations.

Is this You?

  • 4+ years of sales experience in a B2B SaaS or PaaS/technology setting.
  • 3-5  years of proven experience leading a BD Representative team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Mastery in CRM systems like Salesforce, Pipedrive, or Hubspot. Familiarity with Zoominfo or Apollo is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in outbound prospecting and managing warm leads. Experience with tools like Outreach, Vidyard and Highspot.
  • Stellar communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in English; knowledge of French or German is a plus for EMEA regions.
  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Natural ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
  •  Innate customer service orientation paired with resilience and persistence.
  •  Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly evolving sales landscape.
  • A keen eye for detail and a persuasive demeanor.
  • A good sense of humor and a genuine interest in data management.
