Your Challenge

  • Digital & in-person events across global regions
  • Own the success of Ataccama in-person and digital events end-to-end, from internally-organized webinars to major trade shows.
  • Lead and mentor a global team to accomplish strategic goals and meet lead targets. Understand and improve upon current processes to support scaling up our event activities.
  • Keep the events pipeline full for each major region. Research new event opportunities and pitch them to relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all operations are fulfilled for every event from start-to-finish, including event deliverables, speaker prep, travel planning, giveaways, invites, promotion, and follow ups.
  • Plan a steady stream of engaging content that’s timely (webinars, demos, podcasts, panel discussions, etc.) to meet our event targets (and associated lead targets) this fiscal year.
  • Understand key product and company messaging, and ensure it is reflected in our events.
  • Understand our company culture and ensure it is reflected in our events.
  • Ensure communication with partners, external speakers, and internal stakeholders is conducted effectively.
  • Propose and action improvements to our events strategy and execution, especially to support scalability and growth.
  • Roll up your sleeves and jump in wherever needed to support your team. Write up session descriptions and promotional content, work on a social media post, draft or edit follow ups, put together scripts, staff events, work with the design team to produce merch and giveaways, test mailer campaigns, etc.
  • Travel to and staff in-person events around the world (including trade shows, conferences, seminars, business breakfasts, etc.). Expect frequent travel to EMEA region events.
  • Lead gen & tracking
  • Set KPIs and track results of every event (# attendees, # registered, # of qualified leads, engagement levels, qualitative feedback, etc.).
  • Report on results at bi-monthly marketing meetings and provide feedback to internal stakeholders on which events are most effective.
  • Other marketing activities
  • As a senior member of the marketing team, participate in and help ensure the execution and success of other marketing activities and initiatives as needed. This includes all-hands, major internal events such as user conferences, Customer Advisory Boards, and Allstaffs, content development, internal communications, communication with clients and prospects, lead gen support, diversity & inclusion initiatives, etc.

Is this you?

  • You live and breathe events, but you’re an all-around stellar marketer who can see the big picture. Ideally, you have some experience in content writing, content marketing, communications, digital lead gen, etc.
  • You have experience leading a small team or mentoring colleagues.
  • You’ve worked for a B2B tech company.
  • You think strategically, believe that processes and operations are critical for scale, and aren’t afraid to dive into the details.
  • Your English is at the level of a native speaker, both spoken and written. You are able to proofread mailer campaigns, draft scripts, write up session descriptions, etc.
  • You’re a natural problem solver and won’t be thrown when challenges arise.
  • You’re hyper-organized and aren’t afraid to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • You don’t expect to work 9am-5pm every day. You’re flexible with time and can help staff digital events and attend prep meetings that take place in North America, EU, or APAC time zones.
  • You’re ready and able to travel.
  • You’re a people person. You like to communicate and enjoy working with an international team.
