We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Toronto team and be a key player in our continued growth, success, and challenging fun. Your challenge

  • TA Strategy
  • Cooperate with team leaders and managers to collect feedback, ideas, and information about their hiring needs in order to create long-term hiring strategies. 
  • Manage and coordinate our hiring channels (such as sourcing pipelines, job boards, agencies, referral programs, hiring events, social media) in cooperation with the HR Marketing & Employer Brand team. 
  • Generate new ideas on how to attract more candidates and promote our employer brand. 
  • Candidates
  • Manage the full life-cycle recruitment process for multiple positions including developing job descriptions, posting positions, sourcing prospective candidates, screening, and ultimately interviewing candidates.
  • Actively improve communication with candidates (job postings & ads, social media, communication templates). 
  • Build long-term relationships with candidates, keep in touch with them on a regular basis, and target communication (with a focus on “senior/top-notch” candidates, newsletter, events, lunches, etc.)
  • Effectively manage the organization’s global ATS to ensure candidates are properly pipelined for future recruitment efforts.
  • Build university relations and manage career events.
  • Team Mentorship
  • Mentor and motivate the North American talent acquisition team, set team & individual goals, and distribute tasks. 
  • Constantly improve the team’s learning and development. 
  • Hold regular syncs with the entire team, as well as 1:1s.
  • Support the broader People & Culture team on various programs, initiatives and internal events. 

Is this you?

  • You have previous experience in Technical  Recruitment and/or Talent Acquisition. 
  • You are passionate about people and have a knack for finding top talent.
  • You’re interested in topics like hiring, employer branding, events, communities, and company culture.
  • Experience from a high growth-stage tech/software company is a big plus. 
  • You are a go-getter, self-driven and you love challenges. 
  • You’re a natural communicator and networker. 
  • You have an eye for detail and your organizational skills are superb.
